API SLO

API Service Level Objective (SLO)

These product-specific SLOs define the Service Availability Target for the Exoscale Application Programming Interface (API). They apply to every Client who uses the Service. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Exoscale Terms and Conditions or EUSA, whichever applies.

Non-binding objectives

MetricTargetDefinition
Service Availability>= 99.95% (per calendar month)Percentage of time during a calendar month in which the API is reachable and can successfully respond to external connectivity requests.

Important: All provisioning and life-cycle actions on Exoscale resources are executed through the API (the Web Console itself relies on the same API). If the API is unavailable, you will not be able to create, modify, or delete your resources until service is restored.

Nature of the Non-binding Objectives Commitment

  • This provision does not constitute a legally binding obligation but rather specifies a target value that Exoscale will endeavor to achieve.
  • In this case, no monetary credits or other compensation will be granted if the objective is missed.
  • This is provided for transparency and capacity-planning purposes only.
