# exo dns add A
### Description

Add an "A" record that points your domain or a subdomain to an IP address.

```
exo dns add A DOMAIN [flags]
```

### Options

| Option | Description |
|---------|------------|
|`--address, -a` | Example: 127.0.0.1 |
|`--help, -h` | help for A |
|`--name, -n` | Leave this blank to create a record for DOMAIN, You may use the &#39;*&#39; wildcard here. |
|`--ttl, -t` | The time in seconds to live (refresh rate) of the record. |
