# exo dns add CAA
### Description

A Certification Authority Authorization (CAA) record is used to specify which certificate
authorities (CAs) are allowed to issue certificates for a domain.

```
exo dns add CAA DOMAIN-NAME|ID [flags]
```

### Options

| Option | Description |
|---------|------------|
|`--flag, -f` | An unsigned integer between 0-255. |
|`--help, -h` | help for CAA |
|`--name, -n` | Leave this blank to create a record for DOMAIN, You may use the '*' wildcard here. |
|`--tag` | CAA tag "KEY,VALUE", available tags: (issue\|issuewild\|iodef) |
|`--ttl, -t` | The time in seconds to live (refresh rate) of the record. |
