# exo dns add POOL
### Description

Add a "POOL" record that aliases a subdomain to another host as
part of a pool of available CNAME records. This is a DNSimple custom record type.

```
exo dns add POOL DOMAIN-NAME|ID [flags]
```

### Options

| Option | Description |
|---------|------------|
|`--alias, -a` | Alias for: Example: &#39;some-other-site.com&#39; |
|`--help, -h` | help for POOL |
|`--name, -n` | You may use the * wildcard here. |
|`--ttl, -t` | The time in seconds to live (refresh rate) of the record. |
